When we believe in Jesus Christ, that He had come to earth in a manger, that He died on the cross for our sins, we become children of God.
Yet, to all who receive Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the right to be children of God.
So any problems u have, give to God. And as our Father, He will go through all times with us, as long as we are willing to share them with Him. He will watch over us, and take care of us. Most importantly, He will love us.

So altho the contacts were to last for a month, i ruined them after my first week.

It was a very sad time.

I just came back from a chalet, where i stayed over for 6 consecutive days,
for 2 reasons.
1 is for my YM com retreat and the other is my family chalet.
I stayed in both bungalow 2 and 3, then on the 26th,
i'm coming back for YM retreat!!!!
I just can't wait! Esp when there is BRIDGE and GOOSE to play!
Lock me in and give me 3 other pple and a deck of poker cards and i'll play the whole day away!!!
That is, if they know how to play too! =D

Yesterday, Thursday [8/12],
it was a girls' outing!
6 of us went to watch AEON FLUX.
Hazel, Pei Lin, Mavis, Bernice, Andrea and me.
We met at Plaza Sing Macs.
I tried the Shaker fries.
Quite delicious but very salty.
Hrpmh... The auntie cheated my ez link card money.
We bought the tickets for the 12.50pm show at 12.50.
We hurried in and were still early.
i cldn't understand the Brad Pitt ad.
Then AEON FLUX began.
At first i didn't want to watch the show.
I cldn't even understand the posters at the bus stops.
Was it Aeon or Feon?
Cldn't read properly.
As the show progessed,
i thought it was rather bloody and the suspense was a killer.
I didn't open my eyes at some parts.
Then, the story became interesting.
Aeon, Trevor and Orwell were clones.
Trevor was originally the bad guy, then we found out that he
was Aeon's husband and then he became the good guy.
Orwell was Trevor's brother and he became the bad guy.
The plot was complicating but interesting.
So it was a great show!
After the movie, we were alittle hungry.
So we went to the basement and ate some.
Then it was the arcade.
I cldn't play Time Crisis 2 but playing Photo Hunt together was fun!
Pei Lin and i left early.
I had piano class and Pei Lin had to meet her auntie.
It was a fun day with the girls.
I hope to be able to go out more often with them!

It's my movies week this week.
On Wednesday[7/12], i went out with my family.
We went to Sakae sushi at wheelock place.
Since it was really crowded, we were given the seats at the back of the restuarant.
They weren't normal seats, we had to sit on the floor on mats with holes in the ground.
Since i'm short, that meant that the conveyor belt was further for me.
I had to get up to get food. Haiz.
I ren ming le.
Petite is nice.
Lunch was big, really big.
My mum ordered a lot of dishes besides the sushi from the belt.
I ate tempura, scallop, teriyaki beef and tried abit of the steam egg.
Bleh. I didn't like the egg, it tasted rotten.
I dunnoe how melissa likes it.
Lynne, i cldn't find the 'whale skin' we ate. Sad.
And i wanted peas but they didn't have! I fell in love with peas on prom nite.
After the big lunch,
we ate somemore at coffee bean outside borders.
One boston brownie, One chicago cheescake,
and one chocolate ice blended for me. My parents drank latte.
I was really really full. But hey, i dun get to spend money on food
so easily like that. So might as well eat more. [cheekily: it's not my money anyway(little joke there)]
Then it was the MOVIE!
HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE!
Really really cool!
Okok, i think i like Harry Potter more than b4 now.
Ron Weasley, not rupert grint, was cute.
Truthfully, cute.
Cute= ugly but adorable.
Hermoine Granger and Emma Watson is pretty, esp at the ball.
Very pretty.
Cedric Digory was good looking. Sadly, he died.
but i didn't cry, no no i didn't.
Victor Krum[however u spell] was macho.
the blue dressed girl looked like Kirsten Dunst.
Cho Chang was.... erm....
It was a really wonderful movie. Honestly, i got scared
during the black lake and maze part.
Sadly, Cedric Digory died.
The movie was quite dark, and the music... creepy.
Voldemort was ugly.
I like the ball part and the black lake part.
Moaning Mrytle was funny and very perverted.
Neville Longbottom was nerdy and cute.
But not as cute as Ron.
I dun understand why the glass tt looked like Longbottom cried when he looked at it.
I dun understand why Ron didn't ask Hermoine to the ball. I want them to be together!
Opposites attract!
Sadly, Cedric Digory died.
He's really good looking! But not half as good-looking as u-know-who.
Actually, only my mummy, melissa and i watched HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. My dad went to watch this r21 film, THE HISTORY OF VIOLENCE.
So after the movies, we met up, collected free popcorn, which we didn't finish.
Then we went to DFS galleria. The setting inside reminded me of history.
Buddhist temple, Sri mariammam temple, kampong glum's mosque.
My daddy pointed out why weren't there any church.
I wonder why now.
There was a carol group there too. But they only sang contemporary carols.
I suspect they're from PJC, cos i saw one girl in PJC uniform cheering them on.
PJC, woonies college, probably my 1st 3 mths.
We went home after that but tv addiction didn't stop.

SO of course, it was a happy day for me!

It's a week past the prom.
i'm still slacking.
I don't know if i'm doing the right things.
Waking up at ungodly hours,
using the comp almost the whle afternoon,
practising my piano is now almost a dread,
sleeping at indecent hours.
But i've woken up from my spiritual sleep.
I think i have anyway.
When the Os ended, i became lazy in doing quiet time.
But now, i realised that i must do it everyday.
And Quiet Time isn't abt just reading the Bible.
It's understanding what i have read.
Now i've to find myself.
i don't want to act cute, act cool or act clever.
I just want to be ME, Woon Peng Steffi.
I think i'm letting myself be a pushover.
I don't make my decisions,
I am not me.
I need a breather,
I want a change.
Yup yup, i won't follow all trends.
I'll be what i am comfy with.
I'll be what God wants me to be.
That's my purpose- to live God's cause.
